What this is

"I want to share my work, even if I´m not allowed to ask for financial compensation. Because what truly matters to me about pottery isn’t the money, but the joy I can spread and the appreciation and inspiration I receive in return."

My story 🖌️

I’ve been preparing to launch a small pottery business. During the process, I realized that due to a recent change in legislation, I would need to complete an extensive and expensive master craftsman certification. That’s not something I can take on right now -especially in my current life situation. For a moment, I felt like I was in a crisis, - as if a dream had fallen apart.

🔮But during a car ride, I had a moment of clarity – I even recorded it and shared it on social media. If you haven’t seen it yet, feel free to check out my first three videos on Instagram🍀or Facebook✨.

So I’ve made a decision: I will give my cups away for free. Of course, I can only share what I have. That means I’ll create and give within my current means. But I truly hope this will bring happiness - to others, and to myself as well.

✉️I’ve set up a mailing list for everyone who wants to stay updated about FennekArt .  I’ll send reminders about giveaways on Instagram, and from time to time, I’ll also ask for your ideas - for example, for cup designs or specific motifs. Depending on how many ideas I receive and how much capacity I have, I might choose your idea, create a cup - or my interpretation of it - and gift it to you. Shipping costs are covered by the recipient.

A silver lining

👑I truly hope that what has grown out of this crisis will last for a long time.
In a way, it feels freeing to simply give things away. It removes pressure and expectations, and replaces them with freedom and creativity – and that’s exactly where wonderful things tend to happen.

💎Like many people, I sometimes wish I had unlimited resources so I could give freely without limits. But life is shaped by what we each have available. I’ll do my best to use and share what I have in a meaningful way.

And I truly appreciate everything that is shared with me. Receiving is something many of us also have to learn.
